Does Kaspersky prevent attacks such as those as Lojax?

I have recently come across articles that suggests there are attacks even the reinstalling the OS or resetting the hard drives won't work, as they develop UEFI, such as Lojax. Is there any way Kaspersky could help detect and prevent such attacks? Otherwise, what's the best advice to protect devices against such malwares. Also, does Kaspersky blog about topics like this, or keep any other reports, information, publication about such help, so that community members could learn more about such malwares, as well as tips that help better prevent, and handling of such malwares, if encountered. Thanks!

cas, Yes! A good "general" information source is: https://www.kaspersky.com/blog/?s=malware&submit= Search "malware" For example: https://www.kaspersky.com/blog/emulator-technology/27070/ Search "ransomware" https://www.kaspersky.com/blog/gandcrab-ransomware-is-back/25854/ https://www.kaspersky.com.au/resource-center/threats/spam-phishing ---- The majority of articles link to detailed resources, for example: https://securelist.com (Kaspersky) https://encyclopedia.kaspersky.com/glossary/virus/ https://www.nomoreransom.org/en/decryption-tools.html ---- Subscribe to blog = each blog released = immediate email notifications:relaxed: Best regards!
