Been using KIS for over 10 years now without any issues.

Recently, I have been facing an issue where the disk usage shoots up 100% as soon as I start Windows and stays there for around 15-30 minutes before coming back to normal levels.

Also during the work day, whenever I open any new program it again shoots up to 100% and stays there for 5-10 minutes.

Has anyone faced the issue? Can anyone suggest a solution as it's getting impossible to work like this. (Even tried formatting and reinstalling Windows. Same issue after 2-3 days.)

Please run a ScanDisk of Your system drive.

 

Also, You can try to disable Background Scan in Your KIS:

Alternatively, I would try to migrate to the new product line, if already available in Your country region:
