Disk space reduce after every update, is reduced by 100-150 megabytes.

Hello,

I have Kaspersky Security Cloud Free on Windows 7 64 Bit and i update my Kaspersky once every 2 days but after every update, the Disk space available on Local Disk C: is reduced by 100-150 megabytes after each Kaspersky update. So, what is the reason behind this behavior and how to solve this issue?

Note: I have scanned my entire computer for viruses/malware with Kaspersky and it found nothing.

The update should be three to five MB in size after two days.

Regarding traces, i have checked and i found that traces are not enabled.

However, the free space of my system partition gets reduced by 150 MB after every Kaspersky update.

Ther are applications that show used space in real time (for instance Space sniffer http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/)

You can try such applications to check the situation with disk space.

If i don’t update KSC for 10 consecutive days and then do the update, how much is the update size in MB that will occupy space on my system partition? will it be 100 MB or more?
