CPU Usage

Kaspersky CPU usage has been in the 21% range with high power usage. My fans even become audible because of it. No scans or updates were reported on by the program, it just starts using 20~30% of my CPU. Is this normal? If not what can I do?

 

I already have the low profile mode enabled too.

If the issue occurs with the latest version of the Kaspersky product, please submit a ticket to technical support via https://my.kaspersky.com, we will request additional logs for further analysis.

@Elly117 Welcome. Can you please specify your Kaspersky version.

Security Cloud 21.1.15.500, but I have solved the issue, I uninstalled it, then redownloaded it from the site. It has been behaving normally since. Usage is under 2% when idle and power usage has been low.

Thank you but I reinstalled a fresh copy and it works fine now.
