@Calvin Christofan Thank you for your feedback.

Maybe something could be wrong with your hard drive.

Please run cmd as ADMIN , and  run command "chkdsk /f /R” + reboot when done ?

@Berny okay, i will try and inform you when its done, by the way how much time does chkdsk usually takes for hdd?

There is no right time, it will depend on the size of your hd and the amount of files that exist on your hd.

@System_Info thank you, do i need to restart manually after running chkdsk? or the restart is automated?

Hello @Calvin Christofan

Thank you for posting back!

  • 💥 IF the restart does not happen ‘automatically’, shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, then power the computer on, login, make sure the Kaspersky software is active & recheck the original issue?

When it’s available, please share the outcome with the Community?

Thank you🙏

@Flood and Flood's wife thanks for the reply, i will share the outcome after chkdsk is done, and for the “recheck the original issue”, do i need to run a full scan again to check the corrupted file?

do i need to run a full scan again to check the corrupted file?

Hello @Calvin Christofan

You’re most welcome!

Thank you for posting back!

  • 💥 Yes, the goal is to test if the original issue has been resolved, running a Full scan will determine that.

Thank you🙏

do i need to run a full scan again to check the corrupted file?

  1. Please submit a screenshot from the end summary from the CHKDSK scan.
  2. After “chkdsk /f /R” and manual reboot  please run another full scan.

@Berny i thought we cannot see chkdsk result? how to see the summary? i have done it before and i think i dont get any summary

@Berny the chkdsk is completed and i have ran a full scan too, the corrupted file is still here but its decreased from 3700 to 1800 events, same number as before clean install, before clean install i have 1897 events and now i got the same 1897 events too, so the issue is not resolved yet.
