I am using Kaspersky Total Security in Chrome. Newly, when opening a bank website for which I expect HTTPS to show in the browser bar when I open it, it only shows a black padlock but not HTTPS. How can I revert to receiving the HTTPS protection, or is the black padlock replacing it? It also sometimes saya 'touch kaspersky in front of the website while it is being found.

Hello gmb, Welcome! The black padlock & the "touch" information are both normal (the touch msg happens so fast I'm unable to capture it, however, I know exactly what you're referring to:slight_smile:) My image shows KCS software, however, it's the same for KTS. Best regards.

Thanks for your quick response from which I note that you say that these are 'normal'. Does that mean that they have now replaced HTTPS on Chrome although HTTPS is still appearing through other browsers?

Hi gmb, it's a new 'feature' in Chrome:
After installing Google Chrome 76, if you feel like something is missing from the address bar you would be correct. This is because Google has decided to once again to hide, or elide, the "www" subdomain and "https://" from the address.
