My chrome extension used to work until March when there was the whole issue with the extension being greyed out for everyone, but that has been resolved, yet mine still won’t work. When I click on the extension after downloading it through the app it shows that its not connected to the app. (see picture below)

I have uninstalled chrome and reinstalled it multiple times and nothing has changed. 

How do I fix this?

I marked this as the answer by mistake and I'm not sure how to undo it. Apologies this is my first time using Kaspersky community. I downloaded that version and the same thing happened.

@xariadb  Can you please try this.

  • Remove Kaspersky Protection extension from your Browser
  • Download and reinstall on top Kaspersky Internet Security
  • Reboot
  • Start Chrome  → Add  Kaspersky Protection extension version  1.7.88.0
