My software is :-

 Windows 10 Home x64 Build 19042.

 Chrome Version 90.0.4430.93.

 Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (b)

 Kaspersky Protection Extension 1.5.13.0

On the Chrome status bar there is a green icon showing that the Kaspersky Protection  extension is active.   However, with just about every restart of Windows I receive a notification from Kaspersky, recommending me to install the extension.   Is this likely to be a spurious warning, or is the extension really inactive?

Hello @RichardfromStony

Welcome!

Thank you for the detailed information👏

  1. In the KIS Notification centre, are the any outstanding Recommendations for Chrome → open KIS, in the main window, select Details
  2. In KIS, Settings⚙ , Interface, Notification settings, is Notify on screen ticked, for Chrome?

Please let us know?

Thank you🙏

  1.  In KIS Notification Center it says:-
    Using Google Chrome?
Activate the Kaspersky Protection extension to increase your level of protection while online.    There is then the option to Ignore under Details.
  2. Yes, it is.

Yes, I figured that.  But that means I assume that it's a false warning, rather than the protection extension isn’t working.
