Can't figure out how to disable auto renewal.

In the licensing window it shows a renewal date, but I can't find where to stop that from happening automatically. I've followed the link to the My Kaspersky website, but there isn't any kind of setting there either. On one page it says that you need to contact the service you bought it from directly, but I'm pretty sure I bought a hard copy of kaspersky in like 2010 from staples and its just been auto renewing ever since. Help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: Cannot provide windows version because typing winver in the "run" box causes error: "Windows cannot find winvir".

Welcome!

  1. Was the software purchased from from Staples Online or from a shopfront? 
  2. IF you didn't buy from a Kaspersky website there's no option available in your MyKaspersky account. 
  3. IF you didn't buy from the listed providers, like Nexway & the others in the list, they will not be able to help either. 
  4. Winver is with an *e*, is that what you're typing?
  5. Have you contacted Kaspersky support - What to do if you couldn't cancel auto-renewal of your license ?

Sign in to your My Kaspersky account.
Go to the Main section.
Go to the Licenses section.
Select a subscription for Kaspersky Secure Connection and click the Auto-renewal is turned on link.

I just purchased the 3 year plan from Kaspersky. The only way  I found to cancel the auto renewal was to contact support. I did it through chat, it was quick and easy.
