Cannot make changes. Requires restart.

So I've been having this problem recently. You know the popup where it says something like "Don't prompt me again, allow changes for X minutes" it doesn't work. The prompt just stays there and sometimes it doesn't even popup. Same with pausing Kaspersky, the popup just stays there. I can't change any settings also. I have to restart my computer for it to work again.

How do I restart Kaspersky without restarting my computer? I can't stop the service and the quit application in the Kaspersky menu doesn't work.

I have found a remedy. 

Basically when I try to pause Kaspersky and click on "Pause protection" nothing happens. But the screen flickers like it's trying to load something but isn't. So I just keep clicking the button until eventually another popup appears and then it "authorizes" me.
