Hello,

Every time I go on Google Chrome and twitch.tv this keeps showing up on my screen. It happens so many times and is getting quite annoying. How do I disable it? Even clicking continue or disconnect does nothing, it appears again few seconds later.

  1. How do I disable it?

Hello @Idk123,

Welcome!

  1. Which Kaspersky Free version is installed, on the Windows Taskbar *hidden icons*, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About
  2. Which Windows OS & Build, in Window Search, type WINVER & select the winver app, post back a screen-shot of the results please?
  3. Is it *only* Twitch? IF 'yes' - follow Messages "Certificate verification problem detected" and "Cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established" when trying to open a website -> *Note, some of the options may not be available in Kaspersky Free* -> IF 'no', continue...
  4. Make sure the System date & time are correct & the time server synchronization is working?
  5. Exit Chrome browser -> do not restart it atm.
  6. Create a System Restore Point, read: How to create a restore point in Windows
  7. Uninstall Kaspersky Free.
  8. Shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power on by pressing the power button, login.
  9. Download & install Kaspersky Free: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/free-antivirus
  10. Run a Kaspersky Database update.
  11. Shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power on by pressing the power button, login.
  12. Start Chrome & check Twitch  / certificate issue?

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?

Thank you🙏

That's the thing. I added those domains to the exclusions and this still appears. I added in both network and safe browsing.

21.18.5.438 (a)

Windows 11 Pro 23H2 22631.4037

Only Twitch.

Can't show the alert thing as there's no setting or page for it inside the app unless I just can't find it?

  • Thanks 1

Can't edit my post but here's the details. It's now a different URL to the one above. Is there a way to stop this? Should I disable encrypted scans or is there a way to report this to Kaspersky to fix?

Event: SSL connection with invalid certificate detected
User type: Not defined
Application name: chrome.exe
Application path: C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application
Component: Safe Browsing
Result description: Blocked
Object name: beacons.gcp.gvt2.com
Reason: The certificate chain is incomplete.

I've disabled scanning of encrypted certificates in network.

If you're not going to help and find a solution then I'ma just disable it. Good day

Hello @Idk123

Thank you for posting back & the information!

  1. Np: How to change encrypted connections settings
  2. It's your choice. We cannot perform magic @Idk123, it's your right to refuse to follow steps, we can't direct (you) to Kaspersky Customer Service - Kaspersky Free subscriber's have no access to Kaspersky's Technical Support services; we can't submit a request on (your) behalf - Community guidelines forbid *all* Community members requesting information including logs & data that may contain personal information - those privacy guidelines exist to protect you/us & Kaspersky - so realistically - what would you like us to do - while we're still waiting for the screen-prints that (you) have not posted?

Thank you🙏
