cannot garuntee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established [Closed]

  • Author
Hi A.., I am getting a warning dialog box saying "cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established" through Microsoft outlook when it is trying to connect to pick up mail from a live.com.au account. I know this site is safe so want to add it to a whitelist or somehow allow Kaspersky to ignore the problem. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Potzki You can add whitelist the site by adding it to the exclusions of the encrypted connection scanning of kaspersky. To do so:
  1. Open Kaspersky > Settings > Additional
  2. Go to Network
  3. Scroll down and look for Manage Exclusions
  4. Click on "Add" then enter: www.live.com.au
  5. Click on "Add" again to save the settings.
Once done, re-launch your Outlook and check if the issue is still there. Let us know of the result. Regards,

Configure Exceptions in the Check secure connections section of the Network settings window https://help.kaspersky.com/KIS/2020/en-US/68219.htm add live.com.au to the Manage exclusions list
