Bug: Duplicate suggestions in "Mitteilungszentrale"

Recently a update to the latest version 21.27.7.384 was installed. I am using Windows 10 Pro (also latest version).

 

I often use Tor Browser. Each I start the Tor Browser a new suggestion appears in the "Mitteilungszentrale", that the traffic for Tor is not monitored. This is correct, as I don't want this. I can ignore this suggestion, but the next time I start Tor Browser the same suggestions opens again. So my "Mitteilungszentrale" contains now 13 times the same suggestion regarding Tor Browser.

This bug was introduced in the latest version.

 

I also mailed the issue to you via email, but your superior support just replied

Go to Exclusions settings -> Trusted Applications -> add Tor -> enable -> Do not scan encrypted traffic

Thanks for this workaround.

 

I added path\to\Tor Browser\Browser\firefox.exe to the trusted applications, and saved the settings.

 

Unfortunately I still get one suggestion every time I start Tor Browser, so this workaround did not work. I also tried to check everything in the dialog (see screenshot), but still one suggestion each time I start Tor Browser.

If You click in Details, in the Suggestion, can't You select in Ignore?

Hi,

as said in my initial post, I can ignore all of the equals suggestions but each time I start Tor Browser I get a "new" suggestion, but with the same text again.

I understand there is no support for the free version, but could the issue be passed internally and fixed? It would really help the users.

The recommendations don't actually bother me that much. What's annoying is that Windows shows a notification for every Kaspersky recommendation that pops up at the bottom right of the screen and plays a sound. That's why I have disabled all Kaspersky notifications in windows for the Windows account under which i use Tor Browser. But that's the worst workaround possible.

Please don't suggest me to hide this kind of recommendations via the settings. I have already tried this without success. Just fix the error.

I'm not a K. developer, just a Mod, and KFree has no official support for users.

 

As You are using the Free version, some features are not available, and some suggestions can't be ignored,

 

Also, try to create the encrypted traffic exclusion to tor.exe and nmhproxy,exe

Well, I can ignore those suggestions in Kaspersky Free, but Kaspersky Free just ignores that I ignored the suggestion. It is a shame that it is impossible to report bugs for Kaspersky Free and very unpleasant that Kaspersky introduced this bug in this version and the customer has to live with this.

Several years ago, we also had a similar experience with Kaspersky at the Office: A new version of the Security Center introduced a bug but Kaspersky (your support) provided no fix. 2 years ago, I was asked to renew our license with Kaspersky and I declined and now we are using another anti virus protection. Problem solved.

I think I have to uninstall Kaspersky from my private machines too.

Before I mark my solution "uninstall kaspersky software" as solution, I wait a little bit. Perhaps they fix the bugs this time.

Hum... as I don't have Free version, I can't assure, but what You consider a bug maybe it is by design 🤔
