From Guide on Kaspersky software availability in the United States, Operations -> *Starting from September 29, Kaspersky antivirus and cybersecurity products will be limited in functionality. Limitations will be implemented gradually, starting from September 10 through to September 29.*

SafeMoney, no, it's an integral component of Kaspersky's software. Kaspersky's advice re SafeMoney: Guide on Kaspersky software availability in the United States, Safe Money. The cutoff date is September 30th, 2024. 

For KPM, Kaspersky advise: Guide on Kaspersky software availability in the United States, Kaspersky Password Manager - looking at: Looking for information about your transition from Kaspersky to UltraAV? - Ultra has Passwatch - it appears to be an equivalent of KPM - how Kaspersky / Ultra intend to transition this is not stated anywhere in any documentation. 

-> Ultra may be similar to Kaspersky, they distribute KPM with Kaspersky Premium & Kaspersky Plus, but leave it up to the subscriber to *opt in*. 

(ioo) given all the changes that are happening, it'd be a good idea to create a Kaspersky Password Manager (KPM) backup: KPM, Create copy  -> that way, any KPM changes - announced OR unannounced, you have some control/recovery measures in place:                 image.thumb.png.0be2924aa50a83abe50d685086f9bab6.png

Regarding both issues, we've been directed by Kaspersky - that *all* users impacted by the transition should be raising any issues with Ultra, however, in our opinion, until the 30th of September 2024, Kaspersky still has an obligation to provide support.*

Irrespective, of who *owns* supporting any issues, we'd recommend reaching out to support - in either group, now as opposed to 30th Sept, 2024.

After September 30th, reading: Guide on Kaspersky software availability in the United States   & UAV FAQ, What will happen to my Kaspersky service: "On September 30th, 2024 Kaspersky will no longer be able to support or provide product updates to your service." - it appears not, that's why we wrote:

I don't think Safe Money will still work because Kaspersky AV will be uninstalled, and that's how Safe Money is accessed.

On my PC I now have multiple browsers. One will be used for banking & payments like Safe Money was, and I won't be using it for daily browsing.

Safe Money is still working to my delight since Ultra does not have anything like this. It is a bit slower since I do have to agree to continue several times.

Password Manager is still working also.

If I understood VPN better maybe that would give me the same protection but I am not willing to take the chance. I hope Safe Money continues to work
