Application rules, if i enabled some exclusions, will this increase gaming performance?

Just curious if i enabled some exclusions settings for certain games, in the application rules/exclusions, there are settings like - Do not monitor application activity or - Do not inherit restrictions from the applications parent process”

Is Gaming Mode enabled? 

Regarding  Do not monitor application activity  &  Do not inherit restrictions from the (application’s) parent process, creating exclusions completely excludes a program/file/object from the scan scope, Kaspersky Total Security stops monitoring the program/file/object and network activity of the program/file/object, as well as its access to the system registry. Its executable file will remain to be scanned for viruses.

Do not monitor application activity. Exclude any activity of the application (even suspicious) from the scan scope of the System watcher component.

Do not inherit restrictions from the parent process (application). The application's activity is controlled according to the rules created by the user. 

Exclusions should only be added if the program/file/object is known to be safe. 

If (computer) performance is not optimal, imo, creating exclusions is not the best way to manage the issue. 

If you wish, please submit a GSI & Windows Logs or log a case with Kaspersky Technical Support, the Support team will need the GSi & also may request Traces, collected as the issue is replicated, they will guide you with the Traces collection.

How vulnerable are you really when your playing a game, if its online is there ways for the players your playing with to hack you or something?  Im just curious why it would be necessary to continually be running tasks/scans on the game, the game itself wont do anything, is it the online players then?
