Android, Why is there no Internet Protection for Microsoft Edge in Android Phone?

Why is there no Internet Protection for Microsoft Edge in Android Phone. I am using Microsoft Edge in my Android Phone, as it is comfortable and more user friendly than that of Google Chrome and why is the Kaspersky Internet Protection not supporting Microsoft Edge. 

This limitation was not said to me, as a user, while purchasing the one year subscription kaspersky premium. Is there any alernative work-around for this.

1. The information is clearly documented: Supported browsers, Internet Protection only checks websites in Google Chrome.
2. KIS also supports the browser shipped with the phone, for example, if the phone is a Samsung, KIS will support Samsung browser.

Ok.  Got it. However, while I am using the Microsoft Edge in my laptop and access website related to Banks, the system automatically launches the Protected Browser. Is the internet protection same as that of the protected browser. Please confirm.
