allow iPad through KIS firewall to my PC on home network using filebrowserGO on the ipad.

Hello,

I wish to connect my iPad to my Win10 laptop using filebrowserGO on the ipad.

it works if i turn the KIS firewall off.

Can I add an exception (if that is the correct terminology) to allow the iPad to connect without turning hte firewall off?

both units are on the same home Wi-Fi network.

the current address of my iPad is 192.168.0.3 but i assume this will be different the next time i connect tomorrow.

Please try this ?

Kaspersky → Settings → Protection → Firewall → Configure packet rules

→ Local services (TCP) → Rightclick → Edit → Action : "Allow" → Save

→ Local services (UDP) → Rightclick → Edit → Action : "Allow" → Save

→ Reboot

 

Additionally

→ Settings → Protection → Firewall → Networks → Your Home Network adapter : Trusted
