Activation issues after Windows reinstall - All "Devices" removed but says Exceeded Max Number of Activations

For reasons I cannot explain, all three laptops in the house slowed to a crawl. After much troubleshooting, just decided to screw it and reinstall Windows.

As I’m reinstalling Kaspersky Total Security I’m getting the “You exceeded the maximum number of activations...” message. I went into My Kaspersky “Devices” section, redownloaded the app, and still having a problem. There’s a little over a year left on our 3-device subscription.

Then decided to just wipe out all devices on the My Kaspersky homepage, thinking these were somehow old “links” of some kind and I needed to re-establish them with the reinstalled Windows. Nope. That didn’t work either.

What’s it going to take to reinstall KTS on my machine? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello @JohnGalt,

Welcome back & Happy New Year🐣 !

Please follow: "You have exceeded the maximum number of activations allowed for the entered activation code" error → contact Kaspersky Technical Support to reset the activation counter, send a request with a detailed description of the issue

  •  After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human will communicate with you, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account.

Thank you🙏
