Why kaspersky is installed as 32 bit app in 64 bit OS?? Kaspersy must identify which system is installed 32 or 64 and then install kaspersky 32 or 64 bit depends on OS.

Thanks! So 64bit is not planned in the future?

You are welcome. As far as I know actually there are no plans for native 64-bit installers

Hi jkin_ng, welcome to the new forum. An essential quote from the thread linked:
It comes down to this that KIS/KAV are modular and contain both the GUI - 32 bit process and SYSTEM drivers. There is no point in making the GUI a 64 bit process. However, the drivers that do actual SYSTEM level protection had been 64 bit for a while now. The selection which drivers to use happens automatically when you install the software.

Hi all, can I ask? Does Kaspersky works with linux, I looked in a site for info about compare, and it writes that any of popular antiviruses doesn’t work with linux, is it true or just site miss?
