2 Kaspersky Protection extension on my Chrome and Edge browsers

Why do I see two Kaspersky Protection extension on my Chrome and Edge browsers. One is version 1.3.8.0 and other is 30.390.42.0.

Either one is always active. Which one am I supposed to keep? because when I deactivate ether of the versions my KTS keeps asking to activate the extension.

1.3.8.0 is Kaspersky 2021

30.390.42.0 is for Kaspersky 2020

1. Which KTS version & patch(x) is installed - on the Windows taskbar, rightclick the Kaspersky icon → select About? 
2. In both Edge Chromium & Chrome, the current Kaspersky Protection extension version is 1.3.8.0 →  images 1 & 2
3. If, after removing the old, duplicate extension, you keep getting Recommendations, in the KTS Notification centre, select Details & then select Ignore → images 3 & 4
