Kaspersky says my protection is at risk and I have had 31 objects in the Notification Centre for a week or so.

These are the kind objects - trojans, email worms and Packed.win32 (attached a screenshot of the first 5 items)

I have selected "Resolve all" a number of times starting a week or so ago but the problem remains.

Occasionally a tect box appears saying

I have Windows 11 and use Kaspersy Plus Version 21.17.7.539

If You check the path of that detections, They are located inside the file outlook.pst, so They are infected files that came to You probably via an email.

 

Kaspersky can't delete / disinfect them from there, since They are inside that file, so just perform a search inside Your Outlook application, find those infected emails with those attachments and delete them manually, then go back to Kaspersky detections and click on Resolve or Ignore, that should fie the issue.

Hi, thanks very much for the advice. I looked at the path for each of the detections and they are in old outlook backups. Should I simply manually delete the backup file that the emails as these files are no longer needed? Thanks again, Terence
