‘New applications versions’ option

Hi All,

I have been running Kaspersky internet security 2020 and I've just noticed that
the ‘New applications versions’ option is no longer visible so does this mean the program will download and install version 2021 automatically, right?

Hello @Jassie, 

Welcome!

  • Correct, Kaspersky have removed  ‘New applications versions’ option, now, new versions are supposed to be a full automated process. 
  • V21 has been out since before August 2020, and is already up to patch C. 
  • To ensure versions & patches are applied, Kaspersky recommended the computer is rebooted to apply the changed software.
