Sass Drake's post in Kaspersky Free can't be activated during install was marked as the answer
I was able to resolve this with following steps.
- disconnecting Kaspersky Standard on another PC from my.kaspersky.com portal
- deleting my.kaspersky.com account
- recreating my.kaspersky.com account without adding exsisting activation code for Kaspersky Standard
