  1. Thanks mate. I wonder why the other topic was closed? Even more to the point, after spending all that time posting details, evidence and suggestions, why did Kaspersky not even respond??? Why would anyone pay / upgrade for the software, if they do not fix such BASIC issues that require addressing? I just realised I have stopped using VPNs altogether thanks to Kasperky AV… Hmmm It would be fantastic if someone responded with what needed backing up prior to uninstalling and reinstalling, so no data / config / etc. is lost… Could then pin a post so users know they won’t loose anything when reinstalling. Certainly do not want to re-import the issue from config or settings. :D lol
  2. Hi, So how long do typical issues take to be fixed and trickle down to users? 3 months? 2 weeks? Few days? I have not removed Kaspersky or submitted new order for A/V for these client sites. Thanks p.s. Very strange to link requests/bugs from two different languages… https://community.kaspersky.com/produkty-dlya-doma-russkoyazychnyy-forum-18p.p.s. “Requirement” do you mean a feature request / bug request? Or do you actually mean a “requirement”? p.p.p.s. Can you please check the “Requirement” 4227445 and make sure it includes two/three additional clear issues associated to this pop-up problem? If Allow / Block then save choice to list in Kaspersky settings. Can manage list of networks there regardless if Kaspersky Firewall is used (I prefer WCF by Malwarebytes on my systems). Allow adding permit / block / disabled (3 state button) for each network adapter etc. ie. Disable the rule and fallback to firewall rules. Or override and block / allow. Can domains have modifiers? e.g. example.[com|net|co.uk|ru] or IP addresses? 12.23.34.[1-123]? Add “New Network Connection” notification dialogue to a category under Kaspersky settings > Notifications > Groups so you can disable this group of notifications.Thank you! 😃😃 :D
  3. TURN OFF THIS NOTIFICATIONS PLEASE! If Kaspersky Firewall is turned OFF then DO NOT DISPLAY notification! If Network is INTERNAL / NON-ROUTABLE subnet, then disregard ALL Hyper-V / VMWARE / etc. network adapters and subnets! Add setting to Turn Off New Network notifications! PLEASE!!! PERMITTED & BLOCKED NETWORKS LIST IN KASPERSKY Add a list of blocked networks with subnets. Add ability to add IP Address + IP w/ Subnet (/8 /24 etc) + Domain (not just Domain name) - see screen shot. Modify Status column: 3 stage toggle for Allow / Block / Disabled PLEASE REMEMBER CHOICES TO SAVED LIST OR WINDOWS FIREWALL If you click ALLOW then REMEMBER choice. If you click BLOCK then REMEMBER choice.Go to Windows Firewall to remove rule. Thank you! CANNOT Add IP Address or IP with Subnet Mask (eg. /255.255.255.0) or IP with bits (e.g. /20).Notification CANNOT be disabled in Setting! Something wrong with your forum… See screenshot below: Send Send Send Send…. Now even longer after inserting THIS photo!!!
  4. Thanks AND … don’t forget, to FIX the issue with the Exclusions section, so to permit: IP Addresses (12.23.34.111) IP Addresses and Subnet mask (12.23.34.0/8 or 12.23.34.0/255.255.255.0) Domain name use (already available).Rather than only for domain name, then you can exclude subnets or just IP’s which is more useful than just excluding domain names (when not all addresses on the internet have a domain name! But they all have IP addresses!!!). Thanks.
  5. Screenshot of exclusions that do not work (and subnet is lost - e.g. 172.xx.xx.1/20). Only designed for domains! Not good! Should support both, just like a firewall. Screenshot of pop-up that will not go away, after resuming Windows… Updates are automatic. 6. The marked solution is NOT a solution!! #1. Even adding the subnet’s to the list of exceptions (App » Settings » Network Settings » Manage Exclusions) does not solve the problem. Also, once you add the subnet x.x.x.x/20, the subnet mask is removed! This field is only designed for DOMAIN NAMES! Thus why it is Faulty and limited! #2. I have cancelled the renewal for another client this week as they are fed up with the past 9 months of pop-ups after the system resumes and no solution available. So another 35 customers cancelled - that is the FOURTH client who has “demanded” we switch to an alternate solution. We do a lot of community service work - not charging charities and community groups for our labour, only for parts (mostly subsidised through channels). Kaspersky is not doing any favours for themselves by not resolving this issue. This is impacting Kaspersky’s reputation. I will NEVER recommend Kaspersky any more to customers (commercial, government, consumers and charities). stop demanding customers send you logs and traces! install the software yourself and stop wasting customer’s time! this is not professional! 😵💩👎 [Removed] I am really disappointed by Kaspersky’s “Community” and complete lack of support. This issue is documented in these forums AND elsewhere! 😵💩👎
