Hello @Hack3rcon,

Real-time protection provides proactive protection for all files opened, created, and running in the operating system.

USB scan protection provides protection when new USB devices are connected to the computer. Once the device is connected to the computer, it is scanned by the removable device scan when it is active.

They are protections with different purposes.

You can read more about it here → All about the scans

Sincerely,

Guilherme

Hello,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I meant that Real-time Protection can also detect any infection in USB devices. Is this true? If yes, so why is it necessary to scan a USB device?

Yes.

If you don't think this is necessary for you, you can disable this option in Settings.

For example, I turn off this option for myself.
