Which server does commercial license code active through? [Closed]

Does it use Kasperskys activation servers or the management security center server deployed on the customer side?

We’re worried about sending out our commercial license key code to people that are working from home; if that code was to be shared could anyone use it? Or would it specifically look for our server to authenticate and activate
