What happens when KPM License expires?

Does the password vault gets stored some where in the cloud, or do I have to make a backup of the vault until I eventually renew my license

Welcome!

• Always make a Kaspersky Password Manager (KPM) vault local backup, if anything goes wrong with any cloud service the data is still available. 
• When the license for the premium version of KPM expires, you can either renew it or switch to the free version.
• If you switch to the free version and have more entries than are allowed in the free version, you must choose which entries to keep - a maximum of 15 entries (of any existing data - Website, Application, Notes etc), is available in KPM free.
• After you switch to the free version of KPM, all inactive entries will be deleted from cloud storage and won't be synced across your devices. However, these entries will remain on your computer, and you can view them in your local vault.

ahhh….. I understand. So it removes from the cloud and required to backup the vault locally

• Before the KPM license expires, make a local backup and after the license expires, don’t sync the local vault with the cloud, otherwise there’ll only be 15 entries.
• Also, as a extra safety measure, before the KPM license expires, save an extra copy of the local vault backup to somewhere other than C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Kaspersky Password Manager\Backup.
