Web anti-virus module and Vivaldi browser

Recommended Posts

Hello

I know the download blocked alert is not due to the browser extension, But I browsed the antivirus software testing website and found that KIS did not alert, but it would alert in Chrome and Firefox.

So this means that the web protection(web anti-virus) module is completely useless on Vivaldi, and it will be scanned by the file protection module only after the file is downloaded.

Is my idea correct? Thank you

I'm not able to use the Kaspersky protection extension, in the Vivaldi browser.

 Hello @System_Info

Welcome back!

  1. Kaspersky does not support Vivaldi.
  2. Kaspersky cannot “advise” something that is unknown.

For Brave browser, some Community members have a method of changing the Chrome exe so the Kaspersky protection extension works in their Brave browser, we have no idea if it works. This solution is not promoted by Kaspersky.

Thank you🙏
