Hello everybody;

I have an active Kaspersky PLUS subscription, which should include unlimited VPN. Actually, I've been using the VPN application on my computer from time to time. Everything worked perfectly and it was indeed unlimited.

Today, I have noticed that it reverted to "limited" version, with only 300mo capacity! I was really suprised.

When I logged in myKaspersky page, it shows that my subscription is available and just fine. However, I can no longer activate the unlimited option (golden crown) on my computer!

Your kind assistance will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Youcef

I also have this problem. I first noticed it yesterday after receiving notification that my subscription had been automatically renewed. Before this I had unlimited VPN, now the app is showing that I have free/limited (300MB). I have tried reinstalling the app and relinking to my Kaspersky account, with no change in status. Checking over the serviced details, unlimited VPN is still being advertised as being part of the Kaspersky Plus service, so I'm assuming there is some kind of error involved which can be fixed. If not, then I would view the loss of unlimited VPN as an unacceptable downgrade and will be looking to cancel my subscription.

Regards,

DN Cid.

I contacted support over 24 hours ago, but nothing has changed yet. I have several valid licences in my account, including the PLUS licence for 10 devices. Since yesterday, I have been unable to connect either the VPNs or the password managers to my account. Such a long wait is really not good.

Hello @Hnas

Welcome back!

After logging the issue with Kaspersky Customer Service, was a Email received, with an automated incident-reference-number *prefixed* with INC0000, IF the answer is 'yes', Kaspersky have met the first part of the contractual-obligations; *depending* on (your) location -> eventually a Kaspersky support person will contact (you) - also by Email & continue to assist, please patiently wait; in the meantime, please post the *incident-reference-number*?

Thank you🙏

Yesterday, I chatted with a support employee who told me that there are problems with Kaspersky. Nevertheless, a sense of uncertainty remains, firstly because of the extremely long time without a proposed solution and secondly because it also affects password managers. The holy grail of online security.

@Hnas

  1. Thank you.
  2. That would have been good information to share in (your) previous post🙄 -> IF it's a *known* issue - it's in hand with Kaspersky, they will be *actively* working on it, not contemplating their navels - they *know* the criticality of the applications for their subscriber-base.
  3. Did *YOU* ask support when a solution would be available?
  4. Have *YOU* gone back to support & told them: "a sense of uncertainty remains, firstly because of the extremely long time without a proposed solution and secondly because it also affects password managers. The holy grail of online security." IF 'no', please do it bc, support don't have time to read the forum, they're busy fixing problems.

Thank you🙏

I just spoke to support again. Kaspersky has a serious problem with the VPN, password manager and Safe Kids. They are still trying to find a solution, and the support representative assured me that a solution will be found today.
