I installed Kaspersky Security Cloud to run a scan on my computer as it was running slowly. After the normal scan, I wanted to uninstall the program, but upon running the uninstaller I was told I needed to reboot my computer before proceeding with the installation. After multiple reboots and attempts, the issue persists.

 

Does anyone have any idea how I can uninstall the program?

Please proceed with the KavRemover.

⚠  Before running the tool please take care to :

• close all running applications
• backup your personal files
• backup your registry
• create a restore point
• reboot when completed

Same problem. Uninstall seemed to run then prompted to restart to complete uninstall but once logged back in everything still there. Tried a couple more times with same result. Downloaded KavRemover but it failed to run after a few seconds. Can’t use Kaspersky as it errors with corrupt database and can’t install a different app while Kaspersky still there so completely unprotected. Kaspersky is supposed to fix problems, not BE the problem. Very frustrating.
