total internet security scan didn’t pick up any adverse threats. [Closed]

Hi,

I ran total internet security and it didn’t pick up any adverse threats. Am i right in assuming the application is defnitive as it gets and there is no chance of any virus, malware, adware, spyware or any type of ware seeping throught the grooves and compromising my data and system ?

 Welcome. No security suite  can protect you 100% ,  however Kaspersky will keep you safe from all known and even unknown threats.

i only ask as from time to time the colours change on my toolbar and file windows. is this indicative of a deeper threat not picked up by the package ?

If Kaspersky doesn’t shows up an alert,  then a system dysfunction could be the cause of this behavior.

1⃣ What settings do you have for “Show the accent colour on the following surfaces”? 

 

2⃣ If Windows Toolbar & File Windows colour changes are happening without your intervention, set Default Windows Mode to Light. 

3⃣ If you have unexplained Windows events, check Windows Event logs.
4⃣ Kaspersky Reports, provides detailed information.
