ACTIVATION CODE MUST BE USED WITHIN 3 YRS AFTER THE PURCHASE DATE, includes subscription period

or, it simply, key can be activated at the fag end of 3rd year and there after enjoy subscription...

please clarify.......????

1. What is "fag end"? 
2. If you're referring to the: Licence must be activated within 3 years after the purchase date", as in the image below, from the date of purchase, there's 3 years to activate the license; if the 3 years expires, it will not be possible to activate the license:

suppose today i purchase a license, as i can understand u are saying i will have 3 year window to ACTIVATE the license and there after i will be using the product for the SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD.

• Looking at the KTS product in the image above, the software must be activated within 3 years of the purchase date, the license itself is for 1 year; therefore, the license will be active for 1 year, after the activation date.
