Please advice how to solve Kaspersky Plus "Smart Home Monitor Not Connected" as per attached screen shot, all setting in active as well as for the Firewall. I'm using Kaspersky Plus version 21.24.8.522.

Awaiting for the advice and thank you.

hi @Handoyo, this is a known issue, we have been investigating. Does it help to restart Kaspersky? (Exit and start again).

I was forced to reinstall Kaspersky Plus like a fresh installation.

Now Smart Home Monitor can connect it.

Thank you

Similar issue here, I just installed today KPremium 21.24b, and:

At the same time, I also noticed this:

In FireWall settings -> Available NetWorks, I have no entry for Home NetWork 🤷‍♂️🤔, and InterNet entry says Disconnected... of course I have InterNet connection, and if I go to my W11 25H2 NetWorks settings, all it's ok there. I have to add also that I'm using NetDNS Free service, but I guess nothing to do with this...

The issue with the lack of Home NetWork entry in FireWall -> Available NetWorks, is also in KES 12.12 I had also installed previously in this system.

Is it possible that Windows has thrown up another hurdle?
It works perfectly on one of my test computers (Windows 7) (21.24.8.522(b)).

The following scenario caused the not connected to the router.

Following a reinstall of Kaspersky Plus a connection to my router is established. This worked fine for a few days during which a normal shutdown is performed each night. However after a full shutdown, using a shortcut I have on my desktop which executes a C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /s /t 0, then turning on the computer again Kaspersky Plus shows no connection to the router. So I reinstalled Kaspersky Plus once again and a connection to my router in Kaspersky Plus is established.

Most nights I just do a normal shutdown from the Start icon (Shutdown or sign out)  but occasionally I like to perform a full shutdown. So it looks like some information is being cleared out on a full Windows shutdown.

The issue with the lack of Home NetWork entry in FireWall -> Available NetWorks, is also in KES 12.12 I had also installed previously in this system.

I already fixed my issues, it seems They were related to Windows NetWork configuration, did a reset (and setup a local fixed IP), uninstalled 2 VPNs apps, also deleted manually ALL Wintune Tunnel adapters, and then my Kaspersky again got the Home entry again, and InterNet entry got connected, and finally Smart Home Monitor working again.

I was in touch with Kaspersky about this issue. I asked if there was a simple work-around rather than having to re-install Kaspersky following a failed connection to the Smart Home Monitor .

Manz, the Customer Service representative came up with the following suggestion. After a system restart or full shutdown, exit Kaspersky (right click the Kaspersky icon in the taskbar and select Exit), then re-start Kaspersky. This worked for me. He also said that a fix was being worked on and hoped it would be in the next update.

Seems a satisfactory workaround until it is fixed permanently.

This temporary solution works 👍 (without restart or full shutdown)

Further information from Kaspersky Customer Support regarding this issue.

'Rest assured that the bug will be fixed in the 2021MR25 version of the product'.

Confirmed. Closing taskbar icon and relaunching Kaspersky forces a network rescan and it works properly.

I notice after first  startup (restart / full shutdown) that 'Smart Home → View' is connecting to my network 🤔

Also , Smart Home Monitor is looping several seconds before the network connection is established 🤔

Reinstalling for me worked. After a complete windows reinstall, my wi-fi was in public mode, also a driver from dell called killer, who tunnel the connection may interfered. Solving them before and installing again it worked fine.

I had the same problem with Kaspersky Premium.

My NAS was also no longer visible in Windows Explorer; this took me a lot of troubleshooting.

Eventually, I cleaned up the Windows registry, but I still sometimes had the same problem.
One time I had a connection to the NAS and Smart Home worked, the other time Smart Home had no connection and the NAS was not visible in Windows Explorer either.

The following seems to help: when you start or restart the PC and you get the login screen, wait a minute or so, and then enter your login details to start Windows.
In my case, it seems that Windows starts up faster than Kaspersky can load everything.

I have been using Kaspersky for years and never had problems.
This started with the last two versions of Kaspersky!

This seemed like the solution a few times, but now the same problem has returned.
I couldn't find how to delete my message, so I'll just do it this way.
Apparently, this is/was not the real, correct solution after all!

Is your network status Local or Trusted ?

Hi, @Handoyo.

I've had this exact problem before and found that there were two instances of the antivirus installed, causing a conflict.

I imagine that a version update must have failed previously.

Check your list of installed programs to see if the same issue is occurring.

It's trusted

In early April, I updated Kaspersky to the latest version, but removed the older version and cleaned the registry.
Around the same time, there was also a Windows security update.
I have been a Kaspersky user for many years without problems, but in April, suddenly a lot of issues arose. Two days ago, a new Windows security update was released, and now everything is working properly for me again (I don't know for how long).
Both Smart Home and the visibility of my NAS in Windows Explorer are working again.
As it looks now, the April Windows update was the cause.
