Hi,

is there a way to set avp.exe high priority in Windows Task Manager in order to give Kaspersky Internet Security full resources while running a complete scan of a 2TB drive (without the need to make exceptions) at least once?

Kaspersky Internet Security: 21.3.10.391 (m)

Microsoft Windows 11 x64 Build 26200

Also, please upgrade for free to Kaspersky Standard
Please proceed with an on top installation , update databases + reboot shut down,
Kaspersky Standard will import your Kaspersky Internet Security license and settings.

Thank you, Berny!

'Run [taskmgr] → Details → Right click 'avp.exe' → Priority → High' gives 'Acces denied'.

Upgrading to Kaspersky Standard could help me work around this problem?

I don't think so , performance is also related to hardware specs.

Also , in the meantime Kaspersky Internet Security is outdated and obsolete , we always recommend to switch to the new solutions.
