Removal of trojan.multi.brosubs.genc in System Memory does not work

I’ve seen several threads on this and they are not helpful. They refer you to a page telling you to do an advanced removal. Advanced removal is where this problem is coming from. The virus hasn’t actually been removed. Please advise on how to actually remove this, as this solution https://community.kaspersky.com/topic/show?tid=20475&fid=122  from @Danila T. does not seem to work.

Did you also perform it?

 

You should also check the browser content notifications (disable it), subscriptions and permissions in your browser. And installed extensions. Reset or disable anything suspicious.

 

How to disable notifications:

  • For Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1287625
  • For Chrome: Settings / Additional / Content settings / Notifications
    or chrome://settings/content/notifications
  • For Opera: Settings / Advanced / Privacy & Security / Content Settings / Notifications
