My activation code does not work

So I formatted my laptop with my old kaspersky account. When I installed it in my new laptop the actvation code says it is says you have exceeded the maximum activation. However I removed the device said on my account already on the subsciptions. How do I carry over my licencense to the freshly formatted laptop?
