Lost entire Documents folder - HELP

I have somehow lost the Documents folder on my laptop while checking "unprocessed objects" notifications......no idea how. Can I restore filies lost through Kaspersky.....HELP.

Running Win10 Version 21h1(OS Build 19043, 1889) and Kaspersky Total Security Application version 21.3.10.391(j)

Can you please check your Kaspersky reports and post a screenshot from the unprocessed objects notifications.

Kaspersky does not scan files in cloud storage, if possible please submit Monero object on https://opentip.kaspersky.com and ask for reanalyze.

Should I submit the object name alone: monero-wallet-rpc.exe or with complete path:  C:\Users\johns\Dropbox\PC\Documents\Scotties Stuff\DW and PGP\Monero1\monero-gui-v0.17.1.9\extras/monero-wallet-rpc.exe

You need to upload (eventually zipped) the EXE-file.

@Scottie Maybe you could give it a try under safe mode with networking ?  ⚠️ Please don’t run the EXE-file after download from the cloud ⚠️.

I am very much a novice at this, I could get my laptop into safe mode with networking but would need walking through the process after that...would it be worth trying commercial file recovery software?

It’s worth trying with a file recovery app, another option is to proceed with a valid restore point.
