Hello @Veerain

Welcome!

  1. Have all Windows Updates been installed & have a successful status?
  2. Which KTS 21.3.10.391(x) patch x=letter; on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About
  3. Does the same "Error while scanning the encrypted connections" issue happen when Chrome, Edge or Firefox is used?
  4. How is Network settings, Encrypted connections scan configured?
  5. Are the system Date & time correct?
  6. Read & follow: Error during an encrypted connection scan in a Kaspersky application
  7. Has the computer been shutdown using Shutdown, not Restart in the last 7 days?
  8. IF the issue persists, log a request with Kaspersky Support, select either Chat or Email, fill in Application malfunction, Other template; Support may request Logs, Traces & other data, they will guide you.

When Support provide a solution, please share it with the Community?

update:

Since there was no way to close the pop up message sent by kts(as there were many and they kept appearing unless I did something) I read this  Error during an encrypted connection scan in a Kaspersky application I selected "ignore and remember" and closed them.

Now according to this above mentioned link, what selecting the "ignore" option does it that it doesnt load that part of the site. and blocks it.

By the way the notifications dont show up now.

But since we haven't figured out what was causing it(and potentially this thing might happen again)

So I will like to continue this thread.

I am now replying to the questions you asked

1. Yes I think everything is succesfully updated

2. I am using image.png.4418bb76806ca1020c6163ddb620fc27.png

3. I am not sure as the notification didn't specify the browser on which it came. And notifications kept pouring in even when I closed everything (all the browsers). I guess they were all just loaded when brave was open.

here were all my network settings.

5.Yup just confirmed from google

6. Read it

7. I shut down the laptop after using it

8. ok

Hello,

As I think, This option only work before you reload product. Try to exit and restart product and to see whether this information display again or not.

Regards.

You mean restart my browser or kts?

Yes.

I disabled self defense and tried to close the application(mimic a reboot)

then enabled it again. It is not showing anything. I think it is resolved but will keep this thread open if it comes up again...

Thank you!
