KIS 2021 doesn't accept my key [“Activation code does not apply to this version.”]

I’ve been using old version keys to use latest versions so far without any problems until this year. Has something changed?

My product is KIS 2012. It is activated on 2020 but not on 21. Anyone has any info on this?

@delice Welcome. Can you please provide the error message.
Also 2012 is end-of-life since a long time ?
Activation codes are valid for versions  - 1 year and + 3 years

Describe the problem in detail, attach traces with the activation error, also a system report

@Friend  In multiple cases removing and reactivating the license is the solution… ?

@Berny  The error goes something like; “Activation code does not apply to this version.”

As I’ve said, it’s activated on 2020 but not on 21. If 3 years is a thing then I’m really lucky that it gone that much in the first place :D

@delice I forgot to mention another issue , are you trying to activate the correct Kaspersky version ?

@Berny Yeah they are both KIS, but it’s 2012, worked on 20, but not on 21. I’ve thought that licenses goes infinite years, but it seems it’s not.
