Two days back Kaspersky addon for Firefox started using 40% of my CPU and lag and freeze my whole web browser. There are other people who complain about this bug in Firefox addons reviews.

Same problem in Brazil. it is happening in Edge too, but it use a few lower RAM.

I've the same problem. Chrome it's almost unusable with the extension enabled on a  i9-13900K. If I disable the Chrome extension, everything back to normal, so I recommend everyone to disable the Kaspersky extension meanwhile

Not really. Its still quite bad.

It's 2026 use latest version, extension cause firefox freeze when filling form
