Is the Group Policy method the best one ?

Also if i restart my PC even if i disabled WD using the Group Policy method, then will WD enable itself again after i restarted my PC ?

Doing manually via WD Security Center it’s only temporally until the next start of the System…

 

I disable in WPD (uses policy rules also) this and reboot the system:

Don’t know exactly what WPD is. I’m on Windows 10 Pro, forgot to mention this.

Yes, using policy method will keep WD disabled…

I’m not sure if WD is disabled. I haven’t used the Group Policy yet, but i made a few print screens.

Can you please tell me if WD enabled or not ?

In “WD runing” the WD logo is still in the tray.

In “WD runing 2” it only says Kaspersky Antivirus in “Virus & threat protection”, it doesn’t say Windows defender.

In “WD runing 3” in task manager in details tab MsMpEng.exe is not present.

 

Can you please tell me if WD is disabled or not based on these photos ?

The presence of this icon does not mean WD is working, this is the Windows Security/WD Security Center icon...
