nexon Posted April 12, 2022 Share Posted April 12, 2022 (edited) Hi, Please note brave is not officially supported browser only Google chrome (not variants of chromium), IE, firefox etc... Rename brave.exe to chrome.exe (in installation folder Program Files) and run it it works now i use it also. KPM extension is supported for Brave, see Supported browsers; however, if you've mucked around with the Chrome exe to make the KIS protection extension work, that is a problem. For BRAVE, KPM extension is supported by Kaspersky, KIS is not. Hacking the Chrome exe fixes the issue for KIS, but breaks the KPM extension, so, yes, it's a "trade-off". Thank you? So if you want use kaspersky protection addon in browser you must simply rename brave.exe to chrome.exe (each time if your browser was updated - important) i always do it because kaspersky still does not want support this fantastic browser.
