I recently installed kaspersky security cloud and my port forwards stopped working so I uninstalled it and I still couldn’t get port forwards to work. This is really frustrating and I have been trying to fix this for days. I have tried everything with the windows 10 firewall and my router but still nothing works. I have no idea what to do and might format if this cant be fixed.

  1. No idea, I didn’t know what I was removing at the time so I tried many different things and deleted most of the logs
  2. The port forwarding was done with my router
  3. no
  4. I am now but I was not at the time.
  5. Windows defender, otherwise no.
  6. Yes.

I am feeling a bit better thank you for asking. To add on to 2 I changed the ethernet network I was on to private but not really sure if that did anything because I changed the settings so public and private are the same.

Thanks

Hello  @Miniloserchamp,

Thank you for replying.

  1. Re 1. 🤔 Hmmm…
  2. Re “Router port forwarding configuration”, KSecloud is not responsible for “causing all the port forwards to be blocked by some firewall”.
  3. Your hosts file, is not original, has been modified, I’ll PM you.
  4. Good.
  5. Ok.
  6. Good.
  7. Re “I changed the settings so public and private are the same”, create images for all the settings you’ve changed, upload to cloud & PM the link please?

🔴 Do you wish to use Kaspersky Security Cloud? 🔴

If “yes”, I’ll write up a process doc for you to follow….

☢ Please do not make any changes, or try to fix anything while we’re working on the issue?☢

Please let me know, there’s a fair whack of work involved.

& I’m very glad you’re feeeling better.

Thank you

Hello  @Miniloserchamp,

You’re very welcome!

Thank you for posting back & the image, I will look at it later today.

🛑 May I have an image of  WD FW properties, all screens please🛑 ?

Re “I probably will not use Security cloud again but if this is not related to Security cloud then I might reinstall it”

Huh?

May I have a translation without the double negatives please?

😓
