Hi,
I have Windows 10 operating system with ClearPass OnGuard 6.7.6.109050 installed on my laptop, and I had no problems with my previous Trend Micro Office Scan antivirus, for different reasons I uninstalled that antivirus and installed Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0.14.1085 (g), I can connect on the network but the security check does not pass, it indicates the following:
Quarantine message !!!
Antivirus control
Enable the real-time protection status of the Windows Defender application

I would appreciate your help to solve this problem.

Best regards.

Hello   @arnaljos,

Welcome!

  1. Please check KISv20 software compatibility requirements
  2. Is “Quarantine message !!! Antivirus control.Enable the real-time protection status of the Windows Defender application”, a KIS notification?
  3. Which “security check” does not pass, please provide details?
  4. May we have an image of the error please?
  5. Go to KIS REPORTS, select ALL EVENTS, 7days, export the report & 📎 attach to your reply please?
  6. May we have a GSI&Windows Logs, upload to cloud  post the link please?

Thank you.

Hi,
Respond to your items:
1) I only have Kaspersky Internet Security antivirus installed, the rest of the software is compatible (just a comment, recently updated to Windows 10, with Windows 7 without compatibility problems between Kaspersky and Clear Pass).

2) This message is the Clear Pass log indicating, it performed the test to disable this option of the FireWall in the kaspersky but it has not solved it.

3) The Clear Pass first verifies the connection to the network or VPN, but before finally contacting the laptop is secure, it includes the Windows Defender security system for the W10 Operating System.

4, 5 and 6) Ok I attach documents to Kaspersky Technical Service with ID INC000011106192,
.

Best regards.

Hello  @arnaljos,

Thank you for replying.

Windows Defender is on the KIS software conflict list.

Regarding  “ClearPass performed the test to disable this option of the FireWall in the kaspersky ”, I’m not sure why you’d use KIS if there’s software that “attempts” to disable KIS core features.

Please let us know the outcome from Technical Support when it’s available?

Thank you🙏

3. In the menu on the left, select Protection

4. In the menu on the right, access the Firewall and select Configure packet rules

5. Search for the Local Services (TCP) rule, right-click and select Disable.
