How to de-register Kaspersky from Windows Security WITHOUT uninstalling it?

Question in title. I want to use both Kaspersky AND Windows Defender, but the problem is the only way to turn on Defender is to de-register Kaspersky from WSC. With Malwarebytes, this can be done simply by changing its settings. With Kaspersky, it's a lot more complicated. Messing with gpedit doesn't work. Removing Kaspersky's WMI entry doesn't work, it just readds itself, even if self-protection is disabled. I tried every Powershell command the Internet suggested, but nothing worked. Anything else I can try or do I have to wait for a future update to do this? (Win11, 26200.8737)

Using two antiviruses simultaneously is a very bad idea.
That's why Defender is disabled when a third-party antivirus is installed.

Why complicate things? Just pause product protection via third line (pause) - MS Defender will be activated. Additionally, you can then unload it via exit.

The second way is to disable the product autostart and reboot the OS. After the first reboot, the MS Defender will turn on in about 3 minutes, after repeated ones - immediately.

He can simply unload Kaspersky and enable all Defender features through Security Center.

Although I don't see the point.
Either you trust a third-party antivirus and rely on its protection, or you use the built-in solution.
Trying to use both applications is irrational.

I found something interesting. MB allows to enable or disable WSC registration in order to use MS Defender and MB real-time protection at the same time. Or to install a third-party antivirus. But there's no official documentation about compatibility, there may be conflicts. So it's not recommended, but you can if you really want... It's amazing, just wow! 🙂

But you definitely can't use MS Defender and Kaspersky for real-time protection at the same time. This is a really bad idea.
