June 22, 20206 yr @Anton Mefodys Yes. With both Script inject option disabled and browser’s extension disabled, the issue still reproduced. If I disable Kapersky, no issue at all. So I have narrowed down the problem to Kapersky. I have submitted a ticket.
June 22, 20206 yr Hi, does it help to disable ssl scan via Settings -> Additional -> Network -> select "Do not scan encrypted connections"? Restart browser, check and let us know. Thank you.
June 23, 20206 yr So far I haven’t had an issue with Google maps after selecting “Do not scan encrypted connections”. I will test it more tomorrow since I will be using Google maps for a longer time tomorrow and that will be a good test.
June 23, 20206 yr hi @Debbie W, thank you for the update, since you mentioned you submitted a ticket to technical support, can you kindly pm me the INC number?
June 25, 20206 yr With this setting, KIS security is highly risky? However, will a fix be deployed by Kaspersky for this problem?
June 26, 20206 yr Hello, I have this exact same problem. It seems the problem went away by adding google.com to the exceptions (active) for ‘Scanning encrypted connections’. This way, you do not have to completely disable the scanning of encrypted connections. Of course, a comprehensive fix is still necessary, but I hope this helps!
June 28, 20206 yr According to the latest news from developers: the issue will be fixed in KIS 2021 MR1 version. As for now, it is necessary to use mentioned above workarounds while using google maps site.
Kaspersky Small Office Security 7.
July 8, 20206 yr Hello, I have this exact same problem. It seems the problem went away by adding google.com to the exceptions (active) for ‘Scanning encrypted connections’. This won't solve your problem. Other resources must be added to exceptions during verification. There's a whole list of them, here they are: https://kh.google.com/rt/earth/NodeData/*.https://geo0.ggpht.com/*https://geo1.ggpht.com/*https://geo2.ggpht.com/*https://geo3.ggpht.com/*
July 9, 20206 yr According to the latest news from developers: the issue will be fixed in KIS 2021 MR1 version. As for now, it is necessary to use mentioned above workarounds while using google maps site. When will the 2021 MR1 version release?
July 9, 20206 yr Hello @w670808, Welcome! MR21 is still being tested, according to @Igor Kurzin, Kaspersky expect global launch of 2021 in July 2020. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳
July 13, 20206 yr Compiled the most complete list of resources that are downloaded when viewing google maps. See attachment. The csv file to import and add to the exclusions of KIS.
July 18, 20206 yr Is there any solution to this problem yet? I also have this problem, not just chrome but firefox as well. and not just Map.google.com but google.com too
July 18, 20206 yr Hello @Eve Wu, Welcome! As advised by @Anton Mefodys, 28th June 2020, “According to the latest news from developers: the issue will be fixed in KIS 2021 MR1 version.” All new versions & patches are released in staggered distribution, for example Kaspersky Security Cloud 2021 was released on the 14th of July, however, some Community members have advised the new version has still not “arrived”. Unfortunately, the actual release date of new versions is never known, sometimes anticipated dates are changed, there can be many reasons for this. Have you implemented the workarounds that have been suggested by @Igor Kurzin & @Sergey_K ? If “yes”, and the issues remain, please contact Kaspersky Technical Support, on the Support page, select your location, select Application use, select from options: Online Chat (not available all locations), Phone (not available all locations), & or Submit a request → via your MyKaspersky account; the support team will request a GSI & Windows logs and may request Traces → they will guide you with the steps to collect these if required. Note: if the issue is happening in both Google Chrome & Firefox, there may be a different reason for the issues, have you uninstalled & reinstalled KIS according to documentation? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳
July 20, 20206 yr I had the same problem. Try this: Go SETTINGS. ADDITIONAL. NETWORK. MANAGE EXCLUSIONS. ADD “www.google.com”.
August 15, 20206 yr I have the same problem. Google Maps is unable to load unless I shut down Kaspersky. I am using the free version of Kaspersky and the only thing I have active is the file scanner. Seems to be a bug in your software.
August 17, 20206 yr Please check the issue in KIS 2021 MR1.https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads Please tell about the results. Thanks.
September 9, 20205 yr Please check the issue in KIS 2021 MR1. https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads Please tell about the results. Thanks. Тестировал весьма придирчиво. Так и не смог получить тех проблем, что были раньше. Похоже действительно решили проблему. MOD: general translation of Sergey_K words:Have tested the issue in KIS 2021 and unable to reproduce the issue. Seems the issue is really fixed.
