December 3, 2025Dec 3 Hi, I'm having a problem with Kaspersky Standard's firewall. I configured incoming and outgoing ports for a game; I saved and confirmed them, but Kaspersky doesn't save them. I have to constantly reload them from a backup I saved to disk. How can I fix this?
December 3, 2025Dec 3 Welcome to Kaspersky Community. Please provide version of KS installed, also attach a capture with the rules You created.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 Author The requested data is attached. I forwarded the ports above 50,000 because those same ports are used by other software.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 Author However, the problem isn't the rules, but the fact that the Kaspersky app doesn't keep the rules; it removes them with every update.

December 4, 2025Dec 4 Author Kaspersky version or database updates reset all the configurations I make. Games or other software cannot modify Kaspersky rules.

Of course not, but they can modify file paths. 20 минут назад, Obi-Wan_Kenobi сказал: Kaspersky version or database updates reset all the configurations I make. It's very strange. You can try to restore the app settings or even reinstall it, then manually reconfigure the rules without importing them from the config file.
