Hi, Ramzi, The problem is known. Try this workaround:
1. In Registry found key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\ 2. In the right half find "AppInit_DLLs" parameter and into it replace the comma with space between parameter values. - Right click on "AppInit_DLLs" and select "Modify" - In "Value data" field replace the comma with space: For example "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\nvinit.dll,C:\windows\SysWOW64\nvinit.dll" change to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\nvinit.dll C:\windows\SysWOW64\nvinit.dll" Restart computer
I didn't find any comma, I found this in the Value data: C:\WINDOWS\system32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvdmi.inf_amd64_b79991c48f5211ac\nvinit.dll

My version of Kaspersky software is licensed. I have already contacted the technical support of Kaspersky. Check compatibility requirements for the KIS20 software, none of the programs listed are installed on my PC.
Do not understand that no version 19 download will be provided until the issues are resolved.

Hello @bengelchen69,

Have you asked the Technical Support Team for KIS19?

Also, please, you given us virtually no information, we are more than happy to work with you, but, we require you to work with us by providing information and data.

Please share with us, the advice you’ve received from Kaspersky Technical Support?

Thank you

Hi all,

As per update goes, this bug should be fixed in the patch E version of all Kaspersky products. However, should the issue persists you can perform the following work around below:

 • Click on Start and search for Device Manager
 • Click on Display Adapters
 • Disable other graphics card other than intel.

Seems that some kaspersky users are still having the same issue even with the patch E installed.

Many thanks!

My Kaspersky updated to 2020 2 days ago.

This issue still hasn’t been resolved. I’m running windows 8.

The rename of the nvidia dll at least allows Kaspersky to run. Given there is only a single entry in the  windows/current version key in the registry your other fix “remove the comma” is not applicable and won’t’ have any effect.

Hello,

Could you do a database update after finshed the product installation ? It should be fixed in 2020 E patch.

How about your situation?

Regards.

Hello,

This issue has been fixed in 2020 patch E. Do you still encounter this issue now?

Translation:

the easiest way is to download the new installer from Kaspersky (select a European website where people speak English). Preferably the European version if you can use English because it gives you an option to opt-out data collection = better privacy

I have an Intel HD Graphics 4000 video card and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M. After installing KIS, the following error started to appear and I cannot open antivirus. If I disable the Intel HD Graphics driver, the message disappears and the antivirus opens normally. Any solution?

Hi, @Janine ,

The developers said that the next fix should be in patch H.
Temporary solutions have already been provided, but I will repeat them in priority :

 1.   Update NVIDIA graphics card drivers to the latest version: https://www.nvidia.ru/Download/index.aspx?lang=en, restart the computer.
 2. Make sure you have patch E and higher: https://support.kaspersky.com/14378#block0
 3.   Disable antivirus self-defense in Safe Mode. https://support.kaspersky.com/common/windows/493
 4.  Rename file: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\coprocmanager\nvd3d9wrap.dll  to nvd3d9wrapX.dll or nvd3d9wrap.old
 5.  Disable the NVIDIA graphics card through the Windows device manager or in the BIOS settings.
 6.   Install the 2019 or 2018 version and disable in the auto-update settings to the latest version. https://products.s.kaspersky-labs.com/ Detailed instructions on how to install the previous version: https://support.kaspersky.com/15098#block1, before installation you need to remove the 2020 version.

Hello,

I am having the same problem. I have reinstalled the latest KIS version 15 days ago, also tested all descriped solutions. None of it is working.

Why KIS has suddenly problems with the 2 graphic cards in a laptop? I am using KIS for 5 years with this laptop and had never an issue before.

Does someone has any further solutions or suggestions?

Regards
