Ok, it’s necessary to change Windows File Explorer to show hidden files & folders:

1. Click the “Organize” button on Windows Explorer's toolbar
2.  Select “Folder and search options” to open.
3. Click the “View” tab at the top of the Folder Options window.
4. Select “Show hidden files, folders, and drives” under Hidden files and folders.
5. Click “OK” to save the new setting.

   

    

⚠ Also, how long has Link Checker extension/addon been installed ?⚠  

Please click on Link Checker (to open) or select the 3 tiny dots & provide an image of the “extended detail” please?

Ive done the view folders and then gone back to the retune firefox and it seems to have stopped. Is there anything esle i need to do now?

Yes it seems to have stopped but I wont lie I found it stressful at times as I am not expert on computers. Thank you for helping me solve this it is appreciated.
