Do exist processing error false positive?

I pretty much log to internet and use It for gaming. Tonight after I already have logged into Steam, while I was waiting for daily task of rootkit scan to occurr before went to start playing something.

I've looked in report page and was checking each component detailed report section when I've noticed 'file antivirus' category. It have displayed two 'processing error' on high alert (colored in red). Went to verify myself each of these files and 0 object could not be scanned.

Object name: WmiPrvSE.exe gives the following error as 'Not processed' and object pathfind is: searchms:display=name=Resultados%20da%20Pesquisa%20em%20wbem&crumb=Qualquertexto%3AWmiPrvSE&crumb=location:C%3A%5CWindows%5CSysyem32%5Cwbem\WmiPrvSE.exe

Object name: smartscreenps.dll gives the following error as 'Processing error'

And the object pathfind is:

C:\Windows\System32

I have looked inside quarantine section and there are no files whatsoever. I have started a series of procedure accordingly to 'KS Standard ender' articles like running a fullscan, to erasing manually these files (which I didn't since they have been normal for Yeats before Tonight)

I hardly think my antivirus is corrupted because it is constantly searching for data bank updates.

What I am doing in my reach is to restart the computer, and run Fullscan. However I have noticed Kaspersky Standard 21.24.8.522(b) did not gave the same alert while I am still running Fullscan. Only happen when I execute 'Selective scan' or 'mouse Quick action scan' to verify these files.

My question is:

These alerts were they false positives? Because these system files have been laying around since 2022-2024 and I don't know If I should be worried.

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

No, They are not false positives about malware.

Can You post the complete details of that entry log to see the reason?

Usually those processing errors are due to temporary issues during the scanning process: corrupted files, issues with permissions, file locked by the system at the moment of the scan, etc.

I've been forgetting to maintain the computer case clean of dust and because of lately the PC have been showing symptoms that freeze for a brief moment of time and telling that I'm almost sure when that happened, Kaspersky Standard was updating the data bank. An hour later when I went check the report page is when noticed that alert in antivirus section which occurred até the same time the update ended.

Later I've made a restart to the computer and ran a Fullscan which didn't caught any problem, keeping the status safe 'the scan got concluded. There are no active threats.

It's been over 6 hours and KS didn't notified me back about those alerts.

Hum ok, bad quality captures, still there are not the Reason of the error, You have to scroll down in the details to see it.

My cellphone is bad I've aware but I can write down If needed whats show in my screen.

Questioning about you have said regarding " you have to scroll down". My report layout show by this far only these lines. The columns indicate 'motive' is empty. It doesn't tell If It have been "denied" or "object/path not found". Is Just blank.

Where else do I have to look for the information on what you've been asking for?

Another question is about how can I make Kaspersky Standard gain access ponto these files protected by the system? So It can read the next time I run a scan.

We all get those "No processed" events in Reports, see mines:

As I told before, They are skipped by different reasons already told, also They can be not processed if The match some rules in the scanning task setting, for example:

But in the case of Your captures, all are files, belongin to Windows system, probably were in use locked by Windows at the moment of the scan, so it's not a bug or error, it is a normal behavior that may happen in scan tasks, so You don't have to worry about.

So these alerts are not a suspicious or malware, correct? I've searched on Google about where these files must be at to not be confused as threats and since they are on C:\Windows\System32 and on C:\Windows\System32\wbem

I was losing my mind....that is part of OCD behavior to over think these yellow and red colored alerts are something serious.

If you are getting me clarified and assuring I don't need to take any urgent action to understand for what reasons last night occurred this notification then tell me how why these labelled alerts in the report section like "object/file not processed " or "processing error" are not a real red flag?

Because on your situation, you have ordered to skip or ignore the action. In my KS I never have programmed to do that nor unpack in background files.

I've always kept the iSwift and iChecker tecnology since it have been introduced in Kaspersky Internet Security.

Wanted to understand why there were no motive or action to why these two objected were detected that way without motive or reasons. They Just show blank under in 'motive' column.

Thank you once more for taking the considered time to assist in advance. And I'll be looking forward.👍

No, did not order anything, those are default settings... and yes, that alerts have nothing to do with malware, as I already explained. Those files are Windows system files and are legit.
